Delete Your Account

Two ways to permanently remove your xSmash data

Option 1 — Delete from inside the app (recommended)

Open Settings

Launch xSmash and tap the gear icon in the bottom navigation.

Scroll to the Danger Zone

At the bottom of Settings you will see a section titled "Account." Tap Delete Account.

Confirm

You will be shown exactly what will be deleted and asked to type DELETE to confirm. This step is irreversible.

You're done

Your session ends immediately. Existing authentication tokens are rejected the moment you confirm. You cannot sign back in with the same phone number unless you create a new account.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you have lost access to your account or your phone, send a deletion request that includes the phone number registered with your account to:

devs.xsports@gmail.com

Include in your message:

The phone number registered with your account.
Your in-app display name (helps us locate the right account).
Confirmation that you understand the deletion is permanent.

We respond within 5 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Deleted permanently	Retained (anonymised)
Name, phone number Profile picture and bio City / country / playing style Chat messages you sent Match notes you authored Push notification tokens Subscription records linking you to RevenueCat	Match scores and rallies where another player participated — kept in anonymised form so their own match history stays intact. Aggregated statistics (no link back to you). Tournament results (your name is replaced with "Deleted Player").

Timeline

Immediately: session invalidated, authentication tokens rejected, profile hidden from other users.
Within 24 hours: personal data anonymised.
Within 30 days: all personally identifying records permanently deleted.
Within 60 days: data purged from backup snapshots.

This action cannot be undone

Once you delete your account, your SMI rating, match history, achievements, tournament registrations, and subscriptions are gone. If you change your mind later you will have to start a new account from scratch.

Active subscription?

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active App Store or Google Play subscription. To stop being billed:

iOS: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → xSmash → Cancel.
Android: Play Store → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → xSmash → Cancel.

Cancel before deleting your account so you don't lose access to premium features you've already paid for during the current billing period.
